How about a Cranberry Pomegranate Mojito for the holidays? Tuck this recipe aside…it’ll come in handy with all your leftover cranberry sauce!
Yes, cranberry sauce…the surprise ingredient in this cocktail. Okay, I know that sounds kind of weird, but follow along with me for a minute. What’s cranberry sauce made of? Cranberries and sugar basically. And since flavored mojitos are basically muddled fruit and some simple syrup (with a few other ingredients) it made perfect sense to me to use cranberry sauce in a mojito. And you know what? It was really, really good!
I decided to add a little pomegranate liqueur to the mix as well, just because I love pomegranate liqueur. A couple shots of rum, some mint and club soda and there you have it! My Holiday Cranberry Pomegranate Mojito. A perfect way to use up that leftover cranberry sauce!
