Ingredients

For the Blood Mary:

  • 4 oz. tomato juice
  • 2 oz. Cilantro flavored Absolute Vodka
  • several shakes of celery salt and pepper
  • couple dashes Tabasco sauce
  • couple dashes Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 tsp. horseradish
  • 1/4 lemon, juiced
  • 1 tsp. Cornichons Gherkins pickle juice

Garnish Options:

  • Old Bay Seasoning or Tajin to rim the glass
  • Bacon*
  • Stuffed olives (blue cheese, pimento, whatever you like)
  • celery stalk
  • lemon and lime wedge
  • Cornichons Gherkin pickle
  • Peperoncini peppers
  • Pickled Dilly Beans

Instructions

  1. If rimming the glass, rub lime or lemon wedge around top of glass, then dip glass in Old Bay Seasoning or Tajin
  2. Combine ingredients in cocktail shaker with some ice. Shake a bit to combine ingredients. Strain into tall glass filled with ice. Garnish with your favorite garnishes.

Notes

*to make a swirled bacon stick, wrap bacon around a chopstick or metal straw and bake in 375 degree oven until bacon is cooked. Remove to paper towel and let cool a bit then remove chopstick/straw.  You could also just twist the bacon without a chopstick/straw but it will not be as tight, which is ok.

or….just cook a piece of bacon the regular way and toss it in the drink!
