C. brown sugar, packed

C. sugar

. vanilla

C. all purpose flour
1 tsp
. baking soda
1/2 tsp
. salt
1 tsp
. cinnamon

C. quick cooking oats

C. raisins (more if you like)
Turbinado sugar to sprinkle on top, if desired

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
In large bowl, beat together the butter and sugars on medium speed until creamy.
Add eggs and vanilla and beat well.
Add flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Mix well.
Add oats and raisins, mix well.
Drop dough by rounded tablespoons on ungreased baking sheet. If you want to sprinkle with Turbinado sugar, do that now.
Bake 8-10 minutes, until light golden brown (every oven is different so keep an eye on them)
Cool 1 minute on cookie sheets, then remove to wire rack to cool completely.
